How do I download the guide?

Once we received your payment, we will send you a download link to the email address you have with pay pal. You can click on the link or copy, paste into your browser. You will see the following page.

Click left mouse button on Download link. It will open a File Download box.

When downloading the file, your web browser may ask whether you want to save the file or open it from its current location. It is recommended that you choose to save the file to a directory on your computer's hard drive. This way you can access the file at a later date without having to download it again. Now Click Save.

"Save As" box will be open, choose where you want to save the file and click Save button.

After you choose to Save, you will be presented with another window that asks where you want to save the file. Before you click "Save" button to save the file to your disk, you should be aware of where the file will be saved and what it is called. The default location for saving the file may be within several subfolders. We recommend placing the file on your Desktop, then transfer it to a specified folder when the download completed.

Now you have the guide on your Desktop.

However if downloaded and saved the file on your hard drive (not on desktop) and forgot where it is, you can find it again. This is a common problem and the solution is very easy. Normally your web browser defaults to the same directory for every download, until you change it. An easy way to find out the download directory is to simply start another download. When asked, choose to save the file to your hard drive and the "Save As" window will appear, revealing your download directory. Now You have a PDF guide that can be read easily on most computers.

The link below is a sample file that will enable you to view what our guide look like in PDF and to test your ability to view the same.

PDF Detector

To Launch the file, Right click on the link and select Save Target as... or Save Link as...(Firefox) to save the file to your hard drive. Then launch the file. If you receive an error message in Acrobat Reader while trying to view the file, start the Acrobat Reader program first and then open the file using the FILE/OPEN menu. Some computers may only open the file in that manner.

To download the file, you should right click on the above link and select either:
Right click on the above text, and select Save Link As (For Mozilla Firefox) or
Save Target As (For Microsoft Internet Explorer/AOL) or
Save Link As (For Netscape) from your right click menu.
Then save the file to a location of your own choosing on your hard drive. For example, you may wish to save it to a folder or directory that you have named "NiCdFix" or anything else.

If you receive a warning that says that the format is not associated with any program, that means that you need to download and install the free Adobe Acrobat reader. If it works, you're set. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader Click Here.

Again, please note: Most computers already have a version of Acrobat Reader installed. You may not need to download it. So please download PDF Detector and see if you can view the sample file to validate your setup.
